The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;
APN Name: ATT phone
APN: phone
None of the other mobile data APN fields, need to be changed or adjusted, only the above.

The sim card will connect to the ATT network in USA (including Alaska and Hawaii.

If you are staying longer than 30 days and wish to recharge the sim you can do this by either going into an AT&T store or calling AT&T customer service on 611 from your mobile handset. To recharge this same plan for another 30 days in the US with AT&T, will cost $65USD + Tax. If you have purchased the hotspot/tethering add-on then it will cost $75USD + Tax to recharge the plan. Alternatively, you can look to purchase multiple sims to cover your duration if travelling for more than 30 days.
