Each SIM lasts 30 days from when you activate it. If you’re planning to stay in your destination country for longer, you can head to an AT&T store, or call their customer service on 611 from your mobile phone. This will allow you to recharge with the same plan or other prepaid plan options. 

If you know ahead of time that your trip is over a month, you can choose to purchase multiple SIM cards to cover the whole holiday period. Make sure to enter the correct dates of activation so you can use it one after the other. However, this method means that you will be switching phone numbers with each new SIM card.
